Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of Suvalkija - a cup in a shield, decorated on both sides with silver oak branches with acorns, connected at the bottom by a silver ribbon with the inscription "Unity Shall Shine". The oak branches symbolise the deep history of the region, dating back to the pagan times of the Lithuanian state. The Taurus was once the most widespread animal in this region. The composition is embossed with the inscription 'Lithuania' at the top, the year of issue 2022' at the bottom, the word 'Suvalkija' and the logo of the coin manufacturer UAB Lietuvos Coin Mint, and the outer ring of the coin features the 12 stars of the EU.
